Plot Against Hunger Garden

The Plot Against Hunger Garden is central to the mission and fellowship life of Clarendon Presbyterian Church.  Except for a December-January rest, CPC gardeners are active planting seedlings, preparing the garden beds, growing, and harvesting hundreds of pounds of vegetables a year for neighbors in need in Arlington.

Through the practice of gardening, we grow our faith through cultivating patience, resilence, and a deep appreciate for God's creation.  Contact us to learn more.

April 2021 Update from Mr. Mark:

The garden is progressing rapidly, especially Cabbages, Onions, Potatoes, and Peas. Volunteer turnout on Tuesday evening and Saturday morning has been extremely helpful with the nearby photos. Weekly deliveries of fresh produce will be coordinated by FOUA (Friends of Urban Agriculture) Arlington this year and are set to begin next Monday, May 3rd. We should have Radishes and Arugula ready for harvest either the first or second week.

We will be starting the watering signup Genius again this year. Watch in future Eblasts for your opportunity to participate in the production efforts of this year’s garden.
