Clarendon Presbyterian Church invites the community to get outside together for worship, to learn and listen to the racial history of Arlington, and to serve with and alongside the community together.
As per latest CDC guidance, masks are optional while outside for fully vaccinated individuals. Mask wearting for children under 12 who are not yet eligible for the vaccine is at the discretion of parents/ guardians. All those 12 and up who are not fully vaccinated are asked to wear a mask. Fully vaccinated musicans are allowed to sing with distancing from the congregation without masks. No congregational singing. Social distancing still required for all. Masks for all are always required inside public spaces in the building.
From June 6-July 18 (except for June 13), we will worship God outside in the church garden. Due to COVID safety precautions, there will be no singing at the services. RSVPs are not needed. Services are also streamed on Zoom and YouTube Live. Click here for more information about our worship services. Click here for our summer schedule.
In April and May, we gathered in three neighborhoods: Halls Hill, Columbia Pike and Green Valley to learn, reflect, and walk together. These walks sought to be an embodied exploration of the past and present racial history in Arlington with a focus on housing practices. We are working on an update for our website detailing these walks and attached sermon series.
